About the Employer:
The service is designed to prevent hospital admissions, reduce caregiver burnout, and allow families to safely manage care at home. Their primary clients are children aged 6 months to 17 years, with over 90% of services delivered by qualified nurses in home, school, or college settings. Nurses are typically assigned to one or two clients within a local area, promoting continuity of care and minimising multi-client shift burdens. This is a specialised Home Care provider delivering nursing-led care to children and adults with complex medical needs, including ventilatory support, tracheostomy care, and TPN.
Each client receives a personalised care plan developed in collaboration with a Nurse Manager, the family, and a physician. Homes are fully equipped with medical supplies provided by the HSE, and all new nurses undergo client-specific training, including shadow shifts, before working independently.
